Institution














With more than 60 iconic media brands, IPC creates content for multiple platforms, across print, online, mobile, tablets and events.  As the UK's leading consumer magazine publisher we engage with 26m UK adults - almost two thirds of UK women and 42% of UK men. There mass marketing of the women's division consist of Now, Chat and Women. They also publish things like TV Times and goodtoknow network.  The company also consits of lifestyle brands such as NME and Mouse Breaker. The upmarket women's division consits of things like Luxury and Essentials for luxury fashion.


I feel that IPC would be a perfect publishing company for the type of magazine I'm producing because it is somewhat similar to some of the other magazines such as NME. My magazines have some of the same ideas as NME with writing about some of the same style and genre of music but it also has information about upcoming events. IPC is a UK based company so it would fit well with my magazine because a lot of the artists and information in my magazine would be in the UK.

    why would Bauer chose your magazine if it were very similar ti NME?
    From your pitch, I got conflicting messages; it was young and fresh and gossipy but also professional? It sounds like NME ? GQ mixed together…rethink these 25 words
    Post about your ideas for names
    Look into style models of typical artists/who will go on the front cover
    The audience profile is better being a made-up one; NOT someone in your class…
    Style your Blog as if it were linked to your magazine genre; customise the background and fonts etc. It is too minimalist and not for the right reasons!
