The meaning for NME is new musical express, this magazine title gets your attention because it is so bold and the colours in the title all work well together. The only problem is that with the logo only being one colour so they would have to work the colours on the cover around them colours so they don't clash.
The font of this isn't very bold but because it is a long title it stills looks good, because it is black mostly it ill go with most colours and also because they have added colours inside of the holes they can use a lot of combinations of colours and the base colours are quite loud as well.
The logo for vibe is very big and bold which will attract peoples attention and because it is usually black it will go with most cover backgrounds. It could be seen as to bland as the font isn't very interesting

Brad you have a made a decent start but you really need to get up to date as quickly as possible. You also need to add more detail to your posts, thay all seem to be a bit brief at the moment. Make sure you explain the reasons for the choices you have made in all the different areas. An understanding of the decisions you have made and the direction you want your work to go in is key to a successful grade.
ReplyDeleteLook at the blogs from last year for help/ideas-Billy Raybould, Nathan Simmons, Riley Mackrory, Tom Smith all produced excellent work.
